Mrs. Adea Pirdeni was born in Tirana on October 1, 1983, and, as of January 16, 2024, she serves as the Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption.

Since September 2020, she has held the position of Deputy Minister of Justice and has been a negotiator as part of the Negotiation Group for Albania’s EU Accession under Chapter 23, “Judiciary and Fundamental Rights.” In her capacity as Deputy Minister, Mrs. Pirdeni has overseen strategic matters related to justice and anti-corruption. Since 2008, she has been a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Law at the University of Tirana, specializing in Constitutional Law, EU Law, and Administrative Law.

Her primary research interests include the constitutional aspects of good governance, European integration, and justice reform. Mrs. Pirdeni also has extensive experience as an external trainer at the School of Magistrates, the Albanian School of Public Administration, and the School of Advocacy.

She has worked as a legal expert on numerous projects with both local and international partners, focusing on improving the institutional performance of public administration, combating corruption, and harmonizing legislation in the context of European integration.

Mrs. Pirdeni holds a Master’s degree in Public Law from the University of Tirana, as well as a Magister Juris (MJur) with a focus on European and Public Law from the University of Oxford. Since 2016, she has held a Doctorate in Legal Sciences. She is fluent in English, German, French, and Italian.
